Nursery bag

Avui us ensenyo la darrera bossa per a portar les coses del bebè que he fet. El patró ja el coneixeu; el va dissenyar l’Anna de Noodle-head, i és una passada! Ja és la tercera que faig i el resultat cada vegada m’agrada més, així que espero que la propera sigui per mi! Aquesta me la van demanar personalitzada amb un aneguet i un elefant, que vaig decidir brodar per a que quedés més lligat amb el disseny. Espero que us agradi!

Today I show you the last nursery bag that I've made. You already know this pattern; Anna from Noodle-head designed a while ago and it’s amazing! It’s my third one and every time the result likes me even more, so I hope the next one will be for me! For this one in particular I was asked to add a duck and an elephant, which I decided to hand - embroider in order to follow the line of the design. I hope you like it!

Aquesta vegada l’interior el vaig fer diferent, i crec que és el que més em convenç. El patró original d’aquesta bossa no porta forro, senzillament es rematen les costures interiors amb un biaix. Però a mi que m’encanten les butxaques interiors, sempre n’hi he afegit. La primera vegada va ser cosint-la a mà:

This time I did the lining in a different way, and I think that this is the way that convinces me the most. The original pattern does not have lining, interior seams are simply hidden with a bias. But as I love interior pockets, I’ve always added. The first time I hand stitched it:

La segona, li vaig afegir tot un forro, enganxat amb la cremallera, tot i que queda una petita obertura als extrems:

The second time, I added a full lining, stitched to the zipper, even though it ended with a small opening on the sides:

I aquesta tercera vegada he afegit dos panells de forro, amb les butxaques interiors ja cosides, i senzillament ho he unit a la bossa al muntar-la. Les costures han quedat amagades amb el biaix, i el resultat ha quedat molt bé.

And this time I added two panels of the lining with inside pockets already sewn, and I simply attached to the bag to when I assembled it. The seams are hidden with the bias, and the result looks really good.
