On n'hi caben dos, n'hi caben quatre!

Avui no us ensenyo un encàrrec, si no un regal que tenia moltes, moltíssimes ganes de fer. Els meus amics, en Ramon i la Maria, han ampliat la família, i de manera exponencial! El passat 29 de desembre, quan ja quasi dèiem adéu al 2012, en Pere i l’Èlia van néixer. Tenia ganes de fer-los alguna cosa diferent del que he fet fins ara per a bebès, però que fos igual de útil. Així que buscant la inspiració de tot arreu vaig trobar el què: una cistella per a guardar-hi les coses que necessiten tenir a mà. A veure què us sembla!

Today it won’t show you any order that I’ve received, but a gift that I really, really was looking forward to make. My friends, Ramon and Maria have extended their family, and they’ve made it exponentially! On December 29, when we almost said goodbye to 2012, Pere and Èlia were born. I wanted to make them something different from what I’ve been making for babies, but also useful. After searching inspiration everywhere I finally got it: a baby basket full of useful things. Hope you like it!

De moment el que necessiten tenir a mà són molts bolquers! :D per això el cistell en duia uns quants. També portava una esponja natural, uns guarda - xumets, un termòmetre per mirar la temperatura de l’aigua del bany, uns bastonets de cotó ecològic, una loció corporal i xampú naturals de Weleda, i unes tovalloletes per al rotet (que podeu veure un tutorial de com fer-les AQUÍ).

At the moment what they really need are lots of diapers! :D That’s why the basket has a few of them. Also had a natural sponge, a pacifier - keeper, a thermometer to check the temperature of the bath water, some organic cotton swabs, a Weleda natural body lotion and shampoo, and some burp cloths (if you want to make some of them, check this tutorial).

Per que la cistella tingués més cos, la roba de fora és d’una lona gruixuda de tapisseria, comprada a l’Ikea, i a més a més li vaig posar una entretela força consistent. Les teles de les tovalloletes són de Timeless Treasures Fabrics, de la col·lecció Now We’re Goin’ Places dissenyada per Monica Lee. Tots els materials són 100% cotó.

To give a rigid form to the basket, the canvas from the exterior is a thick canvas tapestry, bought at Ikea, and also I put an interfacing quite consistent. The fabrics of the burp cloths are from Timeless Treasures Fabrics, from the collection Now We're Goin' Places designed by Monica Lee. All materials are 100% cotton.

És un regal molt original per a fer quan neix un bebè. És totalment personalitzable, tant l’exterior com els continguts, així que es pot fer totalment a mida del que es vulgui. A més ho podran fer servir durant molts anys, omplint-lo del que vulguin.
