I want to live in America!

But luckily I don’t, because if I did I will spend all my money buying all the craft and patchwork wonders that they have there. The variety and the offer that they got there doesn’t exist in Europe, and less in Spain. But the huge difference (and what mostly hurts) is the prices! Especially with fabrics... They have half of the price than here, or less! That’s why today I want to show you the fabrics that I acquire recently, brought directly from the new world.

Straight from Soho, my brother went to the great store of The Purl Bee, The Purl Soho. Poor guy, completely new in this world of fabrics, did it quite well, and brought me these lovely fabrics:

And that's not all! He also went to The City Quilter, and bought these gorgeous fabrics. I love the one with cabs, it’s full of NY spirit!

Què us sembla?
But there's even more ... The past month a friend went to Chicago, and she had the "misfortune" to find Joann stores ... Can you imagine!! She took these adorable fat quarter and fat eight bundles and these stamps, to give the final touch to the packaging. Don’t you like them?

I ja aprofito per respondre-us a moltes de vosaltres, que em pregunteu on compro les teles.
També he comprat a Quilt Designer Fabrics.
I’ll take this post to respond to many of you who ask me where I buy fabrics. In the USA there are thousands of shops, and most of them sell online. Obviously I do not know all them, but these are the ones I've worked with.
For pre-cuts I buy usually buy them at The Beaver Creek Company. Kristine is really nice and very attentive to any queries you can have. Also, always try to fit all the items in one envelope, so the shipping will come cheaper. In her shop you will also find fabrics a yard, tools and notions for sewing and patterns.
I also bought at Quilt DesignerFabrics. Both pre-cuts and fabrics are well priced, and they send it very quickly.
For the fabrics a meter I also buy at Moona Fabrics, which are actually very well priced and have a huge variety. The website is really useful and easy to go, and you can search for collections and designers and also search by color.
And the last order I've done has been done through Fabric.com. It's amazing how many things do they have! All kinds of fabrics, all the designers and collections that you could search for. However, I'm not so happy with the customer service, because they didn’t answer my emails and my questions. In addition, two fabrics of my order were missed in the package that I received. Besides that, they send it with a courier company and not by US post, like the others; so when the messenger delivers the package to my place, they charged me an extra customs taxes. So in the end it doesn’t get as cheap as I thought though. Anyway, I’ve learned the lesson! :)

Espero que us serveixi d’ajuda i de guia. I m’encantaria que em diguéssiu a on compreu vosaltres les teles! :)
Hope this helps and guides in your shopping. I would love if you could tell me where you buy your fabrics. :)

Us deixo, que estic molt enfeinada acabant un encàrrec que us ensenyaré aviat, mentre escric al blog, busco més gangues per internet i em cruspeixo unes cookies de xocolata que vaig fer ahir :D

Good night!

By the way, the (almost empty) jar is decorated with washi tape that I bought some time ago at Washitape.es. That’s a great shop with a huge variety of tapes, and the service is superb! Look at the bobbin stand I made using a piece of cork from a box. It’s been so useful!
