Ben conjuntades

Fa uns mesos em van demanar un regal per fer a una nena que acabava de néixer; també volien un detall per a la mare, doncs ja se sap que sempre es pensa en el que acaba d’arribar, però normalment qui realment es mereix el reconeixement per tota la feina feta durant els últims 9 mesos, passa desapercebuda. :) Em van dir que a la futura mare li encantaven les papallones, i tenia tot tipus d’objectes amb forma de papallona. Així que vaig fer varis dibuixos de papallones, i així és com va quedar el conjunt!

Some months ago I was asked to make a gift for a newborn girl, and also a present for the new mummy, then it’s well known that usually the one who really deserves the recognition of all the work done during the last 9 months goes unnoticed. :) I was told that the future mother loved butterflies and she has all sorts of objects with butterflies. So I did several drawings of butterflies, and at the end this is how the outfit was!

Per a la petita, vaig comprar una jaqueta de vellut fúcsia al Zara, de 12-18 mesos per a que així en pugui fer més. L’aplicació li vaig fer al darrera, cosint a màquina el punt de festó. I amb la mateixa papallona i les mateixes teles, a la mare li vaig fer un clauer. 

For the little girl I bought a fuchsia velvet jacket at Zara, which size was for 12-18 months old so that she can use it longer. The appliqué was made in the back, sewed with a blanket stitch on my sewing machine. And with the same design, I sewed a key ring for the mom.

Aniran ben conjuntades!! :)

From now on I’m going to try to post also in English (sorry for all the mistakes...), so the people that is reading the blog from outside of Catalonia could also understand it, and because the google web translator is really awful...
